Network Access Radio allows office workers to talk with radio users in the field using a standard personal computer(PC). Audio is routed via an existing computer network using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). By leveraging the existing wide area network (WAN), command center personnel, desk officers, public works officials, and other office workers can be linked directly to their field counterparts throughout the service area.
